Every year, thousands of children are affected by cancer. In fact, cancer is the most common disease related cause of death in children in Canada. In a single moment, cancer can change the lives of these children and their families forever.

Summit for SickKids was founded to bring awareness to childhood cancer, while also raising invaluable funds for SickKids’ Oncology Department and their ground-breaking Cancer Genetics Research Program.

In 2010, the Summit for SickKids team climbed Mount Rainier, raising $15,000. This year, we will be travelling further, climbing higher and raising more money for The Hospital for Sick Children. With your generous support, you can help us reach our 2011 goal of raising $20,000 by climbing Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador
