Summit for SickKids was founded to bring awareness to childhood cancer, while also raising invaluable funds for SickKids’ Oncology Department and their ground-breaking Cancer Genetics Research Program.

In 2010, the Summit for SickKids team climbed Mount Rainier, raising $15,000. In 2011, the team traveled further and climbed higher as they summited the 19,347 ft. Mount Cotopaxi In Ecuador, raising over $42,000 in the process.

To date, we have raised almost $60,000 for SickKids, but that’s not enough. Today, we commit to raising $250,000 for the cause. This January, our journey continues as we attempt to tackle one of the 7 summits of the world – Argentina’s Mount Aconcagua. Please check back in the upcoming months as we bring you more information on our next climb and fundraising initiatives.
